babble

First post. Yei!

I know this sounds rather old school, but I find that TV does really ruin the mind. Even this very moment, as I sit here trying to thoughtfully compose the random ideas that popped into my head today, all I hear echoing inside my skull is the grating voice of the lady doing the proactiv commercial. It's hard to be witty when all you hear is acne. Which makes me wonder...isn't it ironic that we now sell acne treatment in vending machines...the same way we sell acne-causing junk food...? In my high school they started replacing the junk food in vending machines with healthy foods, and I wonder why they didn't just keep the junk food and sell acne treatment in an adjacent machine. Proactiv should look into that.

Random sidenote: Blueberries only appear blue from afar. They are actually purpleberries. We have been lied to.

Also, while I'm on the thought of vending machines...why don't we bring back the cigarette ones? We have the technology to insert an ID scanner. And then next to the smokes machine we can put one full of teeth-whitening products, nicorette, and cold turkey :)
